Holy Family Convent School at Ulhasnagar is conducted by the Sisters of Mary Matha Province of Holy Family Congregation. It is recognized by the Government of Maharashtra. The school aims at achieving excellence in every aspect of educational activity-spiritual and total development of human person. The medium of instruction in all classes is English. Our chief aim in educating the youth is to build up in them proper interests, attitudes and the sense of values. Thus we hope to form them into men of character.
We, the Sisters of the Congregation of Holy Family serving India since 1914 commit ourselves to the promotion of provided by our foundress. Mother Mariam Thresia in 1914 continues to strengthen this commitment.
Today, in India, the pressure of castaism, communalism, poverty and exploitative structures make it imperative to equip our students not only with intellectual skills but also with a set of attitudes imbued with social, moral and spiritual values. For us education is not only a service but also a ministry. Hence it is related to every other ministry in the one mission the Lord has entrusted to his church.
Our commitment to this kind of education is made in order to serve specifically the young and among them the poor. We also seek to concientize them of their rights and struggle in the face of on going oppression and exploitation.
